The other thing is that made in Philippines tag. Mine is not colored at all and you can barely see it (as noted in pictures I posted). In the pics of the other bags it shows Coach as being more prominent and colored in gold. I still have a couple of questions, in the pictures of the other bags it shows the logo as being stamped much more heavily and they all differ to the logo on my bag.

I did as you suggested and did a search for "Coach 31623" you are right they all look very much like the bag I have. I don't even recommend Filippino buyers purchase from sellers in their own country because the fakes are so hard to identify.īut a bag made in the Philippines with all the "right" details as your bag has isn't what I'm warning about. Although it's a good idea to have any highly faked brand looked at, buyers who live in and buy from Filippino sellers are particularly at risk of getting a close fake. I'm only making the following comment because your bag having been made in the Philippines jogged my memory. In some styles, I personally recommend extreme caution and only buying from sellers with a long and proven "authentic" history. While there are some very close (scary ones) fakes out there, such as the current Swagger, Rogue and Dinky styles, I haven't found that the bag you bought is one of the close fakes. In fact, this is a particularly tricky bag because it's rare that Coach makes a bag with such variation in the same style. I hate to keep bothering you about this bag I just want to make absolutely sure it is authentic and not just a really good fake, due in large fact to the differences in it and other Coach products I have. (BTW, Coach is now making bags in the Philippines.) Although many of the listings don't show that tag, I'm pretty certain that THIS STYLE bag has the plastic one in all versions. When comparing, you need to compare apples to apples. The plastic/rubbery made in labels are newer than the older brown embroidered one. In my other bags that have "made in" tags they are embroidered on black fabric with kind of silver thread, not plastic tags. This one has the "Coach" logo in gold stamping and solid lining: notice that in the second to last picture, it too has the plastic/rubbery made in tag (It appears that the bags with signature lining are all from the "57" Vietnamese plant): Note that I AM comfortable with authenticity of the examples and am using them to show comparisons and differences. To add more confusion, some bags with the HAC logo (like yours) have solid lining and others have signature lining.

But the differences are found in bags made in different factories and months. I'm finding that it looks like Coach made different versions of the bag with the same style number.

I can't comment on specific differences because I don't know what you're comparing, I don't know whether the differences you're seeing are the result of angle, lighting, photoshop editing, etc. Without seeing the comparisons, I'm giving general answers. I appreciate your help and promise if you will address these last two questions I will no longer bother you with this bag.

Thank you for "putting up" with my questions.
